A lovely George Jones majolica plate finely moulded with sprigs of strawberry flowers on a bright turquoise ground. Good colours and in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Mild all over age related crazing, usual with antique majolica and nothing to detract from the display value of this superb piece. Rare to find in this condition. Impressed GJ monogram and painted number 3363 (described in the George Jones pattern books as 'Pink flowers dessert service - turquoise ground'). Diameter 21cm (8.25in)
