A rare George Jones majolica plate moulded with a large central leaf surrounded by ferns on a white background and yellow rim. Good colours and in great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing only a few minor signs of wear to some high points. Nothing to detract from the display value of this lovely example. Reverse with tortoise-shell mottling, pattern number 2584 and impressed 'GJ' monogram. Diameter 21.25cm (8.3in)
