Fine Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Relief Moulded 'Hunting' Wine Jug c1860

A colourful Victorian relief moulded jug with a vine stem handle and grape and vine border. Probably intended for use as a rustic wine jug. The moulding depicts a hunting scene hand painted with gunmen, horses and dogs. In excellent condition, showing minor age related wear which is nice to see on antique pottery of this type. No chips, cracks or restoration. Unmarked Staffordshire. Height 20cm (7.9in)
