Fine Thomas Webb Cased Blue Satin Glass Vase c1880

A lovely example of Webb's Satin glass, cased blue over white with 'quilted' diamond air traps. The final casing of crystal emphasizes the colour and pattern. A classic Webb shape with ruffled rim. In good condition, with only a tiny pin prick of a chip on the casing rim (need a magnifying glass to spot it). Still a fine piece which displays beautifully. Pontil mark to base. Height 15.25cm (6in)
