Fine Staffordshire 'Japanese Landscape' Scrolled Jug c1830

I have been unable to trace this unknown 'Japanese' landscape pattern; the shape is very like that used by Minton for their 'Chinese Marine' pattern of the same period. An intricate scene of figures in a garden landscape of pagodas, palaces, urns etc. This good sized piece is nicely potted and in reasonable condition - a couple of rim chips, the largest near the spout. Some crazing to the base and interior. Lovely scrolled handle and fluted body which displays beautifully. Printed 'Japanese' in floral cartouche. Height including handle 17.75cm (7in)
