A lovely pair of blue ('turquoise' in the pattern books) vitro-porcelain square vases or posy troughs. A classic Sowerby shape with moulded basket weave on four feet. In excellent condition, they're fine examples of Victorian pressed glass, the moulding being particularly crisp. Great to have an original pair. Both fully marked with Sowerby 'peacock' trademark and diamond registration. Height 5.25cm (2.1in)
