A lovely pearlware soup plate by Davenport in the striking 'Chinoiserie Ruins' pattern. Printed in medium blue and in great condition, showing little sign of wear. Rare to find in such good order. Finely potted, blue rippled glaze and no foot rim, typical of early pearlware. Unmarked. Diameter 24.2cm (9.5in)
