A lovely pearlware meat plate by Davenport in the striking 'Chinoiserie Ruins' pattern. Printed in medium blue and in great condition, showing a little sign of wear (some minor surface scratches but still displays beautifully). A nicely rounded and slightly dished shape with no foot rim, typical of early pearlware. Impressed anchor with 'Davenport'. Length 35.6cm (14in)
