Fine Carlton Ware Yellow Sussex Trug Style 'Flowers and Basket' Posy Holder c1939

A lovely early Australian design. This trug shaped posy holder with handle is in excellent condition and good colours nicely painted on a yellow ground with washed green interior; rare to find without damage. Carlton Ware at its prettiest. Height 7.7cm (3in), length 10.25cm (4in) . Full Carlton Ware script mark and impressed shape number 1810.
