A lovely quality Victorian moustache cup and saucer by S. Fielding and Co. (Crown Devon). Decorated with sprays of hand enamelled violets and finely gilded. A classic early Crown Devon pattern sometimes seen on breakfast cups, but rare to find on a moustache cup. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Cup printed with registration number 322753 for 1898. Diameter of saucer 15.75cm (6.25in)
