Information
An unusual secessionist/art nouveau porcelain vase by Ernst Wahliss (Royal Vienna) painted in relief with flying birds, chrysanthemums and lilies on a dark olive green matt ground. The elaborately pierced handles have beautifully modelled art nouveau maiden finials. The neck of the vase is also pierced and painted in a matt bronze to match the handles. The whole vase is then finished with old gold highlights. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find these highly detailed pieces in such good order.
