Early Wiltshaw and Robinson Carlton Ware Blush 'Hibiscus' Biscuit Barrel c1895

A lovely Carlton Ware biscuit barrel in blush ware on a vellum ground. Hand painted hibiscus sprays in pink, mauve and yellow on a very pretty shape. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Silver plated trim and lid, with some wear to the lid underneath, but nothing to detract. Printed W & R Crown and Bluebird mark with Carlton Ware and painted pattern number 2039.
