A lovely plate beautifully decorated in the original smoky green ground colourway of 'Clematis'. Finely tubelined Clematis Montana flowers and buds in white and shades of pink frame the edge of the plate, showing the design to full effect. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Some mild age related crazing typical of these early wares though nothing to detract. A rare little gem. Impressed Moorcroft signature with Potter to H.M. the Queen. Diameter 17cm (6.7in)
