A superb pair of Tall Kintore candlesticks that would grace any mantel shelf, sideboard or dining table. One of the most decorative of old Wemyss shapes very much in the Arts and Crafts style. Fine crimson glaze and in great condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. One has a minor glaze flake/firing blemish where the stem joins the base (see image 4), not really seen unless examined closely. Nothing to detract from these rare and lovely items. Both impressed 'Wemyss Ware'. Height 23.5cm (9.25in)
