An unusual quill holder and inkwell in the form of a seated Turk. In good condition, without paint loss or restoration. A rare find with crisp detail and good features. The rich use of cobalt blue and best gold is typical of this period. Attributed to James Dudson of Hanley (1838-88). Height 12.75cm (5in)
