A lovely Shakespearean series plate featuring Ophelia from 'Hamlet'. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Mild age related crazing, but nothing to detract from the display value of this fine item. Rare to find these early pieces, especially in such good order. Printed Royal Doulton mark, painted reference D3835 and impressed DOULTON with date for August 1914. Diameter 22.25cm (8.75in)
