A colourful Royal Doulton geometric Iznik or Persian style rack plate in contrasting blues, greens and yellow. Radiating stars with panels of stylised flowers on a pale cream bone china. A beautiful and early example of the 'Floral E' series, first produced in 1912. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Printed Royal Doulton marks with painted series number D3572 and impressed date for 1914. Diameter 26.25cm (10.3in)
