A superb pearlware bowl printed in medium blue with panels of a village scene featuring two figures with a parasol and dog; the central well has a spray of flowers which is repeated in alternating oval panels. Unusual stippled cellular 'cracked ice' ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Minor age related wear to the foot rim. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Lovely blue rippled glaze. Unmarked except for an underglaze '5' in blue. Diameter 15.25cm (6in)
