A rare conical shaped Moorcroft 'Eighteenth Century' pattern vase decorated with swags of deep pink roses and forget-me-nots tied with ribbon bows, the base with stylised tulips in blue. Beautifully decorated on a creamy white ground and finished in best gold which shows little sign of wear. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine age related crazing typical of these wares, but nothing to detract from this lovely example of early Moorcroft. Printed James Macintyre mark, full W. Moorcroft signature in green and pattern number M2565B. Height 16.25cm (6.4in)
