Early Mason's Patent Ironstone China 'Double Landscape' Dish c1825

An early and beautifully decorated Mason's Patent Ironstone China 'Double Landscape' pattern dessert dish. Printed in underglaze blue and then lavishly hand painted with iron red, green and pink, embellished with lots of rich gilding. Lovely indented shape with scrolled tab handles. Printed and painted scrolls around the foot rim. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little signs of wear. Rare to find this pattern on early pieces, especially in such good order. Printed 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China' mark c1825. Width 23.5cm (9.25in)
