A lovely George Jones majolica plate with strawberry leaves on a white napkin. Lilac background and yellow ochre rim. Nicely moulded and in great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. A fine example with good tortoise-shell mottling to the reverse. Painted pattern number 2254 and impressed 'GJ' monogram with Stone China, Stoke on Trent. Diameter 20.25cm (8in)
