A lovely early Bizarre tankard shape coffee can and saucer lined in green and boldly painted with triangles in yellow, red and blue. Produced in the first few months (earliest pieces weren't marked Bizarre or signed) of Clarice Cliff's original Bizarre designs, they show every brush stroke to emphasize the hand painted qualities of the range. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Hand Painted Newport Pottery marks. Diameter of saucer 10cm (3.9in)
