Early Carlton Ware Art Deco Yellow and Black 'Diamond Panel' Bowl c1920

A large Carlton Ware open bowl with a central panel and diamond shapes feauturing enamelled exotic birds. Divided by black and white chequered segments on a buttercup yellow ground. Decorated inside and out - a striking and colourful early art deco design. In great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Nice to find in such good order. Wiltshaw and Robinson early Carlton Ware mark. Diameter 22.75cm (9in), height 9.5cm (3.75in)
