A superb Beswick biscuit jar from their hand painted cottage ware range introduced in the 1930s. Finely modelled with lots of detail. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration - looks like it's never been used. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Original wicker grip handle. Printed Beswick Ware and impressed Beswick England with model number 249. Height with lid 17.5cm (6.9in)
