Davidson's Yellow Pearline Glass 'Lady Chippendale' Nappy or Serving Dish c1885

An unusual nappy dish (single-handled) in the Lady Chippendale pattern, registered in 1881 by Davidson's (reg. no. 176566). The yellow or primrose pearline works beautifully and shows the design well on this shape. In great condition - no chips or cracks and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Moulded Reg. No. 176566 on the base. Length with handle 16.75cm (6.6in)
