A lovely Davenport stone china half pint mug printed in underglaze blue with sprays and sprigs of flowers in the Japanese Imari style. Hand painted detail in red, green, yellow and mauve with highlights in best gold. Rim and handle with pale lustre trim. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Some minor crazing under the base, but a rare item to find in such good order. Printed Davenport Stone China mark in blue and painted pattern number 649 in red. Height 8.25cm (3.25in), diameter 8cm (3.15in)
