A superb quality hexagonal Renaissance revival jug finely modelled with panels of stylised flowers and leaves, each panel with a face mask medallion. A lovely scrolled acanthus leaf handle and glazed interior. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find especially in such good order. A vase in the same style is illustrated in The Parian Phenomenon page 176 fig 575. Impressed COPELAND on the foot rim. Height 17cm (6.7in)
