A lovely antique majolica platter or shallow serving dish with a base of moulded scrolls painted in stripes of yellow, pink and green. The sides have moulded ropes with basket weave and the handles are formed from bright daisies again in pink and green. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. A fine example of Aesthetic Movement majolica of the 1870s and 80s. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Length 31cm (12.1in)
