Clarice Cliff Original Bizarre Geometric Havre Bowl c1927

A large Havre shape bowl, boldly painted in iron red, tan and green. Produced in the first few months of Clarice Cliff's original Bizarre designs, showing every brush stroke to emphasize the hand painted qualities. In good condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Slight age related wear and a few pinpricks of paint loss, mentioned for accuracy, but still a lovely early example that displays well. Hand written 'Bizarre' in red with Newport Pottery stamp. Diameter 22cm (8.7in)
