Clarice Cliff Bizarre Autumn 'Crocus' Biscuit Plate c1933

A Clarice Cliff Bizarre breakfast or biscuit plate used with tea for two sets (especially conical and bonjour). Beautifully painted in Autumn Crocus circa 1933. In great condition, with little sign of wear. Slight crazing of the honey glaze, barely noticeable (see images 2 and 5). Very nicely painted on an unusual size plate. Lithographed 'CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff' mark and date impressed '10-33'. Diameter 20cm (7.8in)
