A lovely pearlware dinner plate printed in medium to dark blue with an English rural scene of a parkland with a mansion and lake with sailing boat. In the foreground a man stands talking to a seated woman and boy. Framed by a lovely border of flowers on a mesh net ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine blue glaze and double foot rim. Printed large Staffordshire knot with Warranted and C&R (Chetham and Robinson 1822-1837). Diameter 25.2cm (9.9in)
