Charlotte Rhead H J Wood Bursley Ware 'Trellis' Wall Pockets c1950 - Pattern TL3

A fine pair of 'Trellis' pattern wall pockets designed for H J Wood by Charlotte Rhead. Stylised art deco flowers tube lined and lustred in yellow and orange above trellis work on a pale buff ground. Both in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find a pair, especially in such good order. Printed Charlotte Rhead Bursley Ware marks with painted pattern references TL3 and decorator's marks 'X' for Emmie Morris.
