Charlotte Rhead Crown Ducal 'Persian Leaf' Vase c1938 - Pattern 5391

A lovely Charlotte Rhead 'Persian Leaf' shape 213 twin handled vase. Beautifully tube-lined with an Iznic inspired design of stylised leaves in blue and purple with pink and yellow berries set against a blue rustic trellis and mottled grey background. A rich and vibrant design introduced around 1938.
In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Mild age related crazing associated with these wares, but nothing to detract from this lovely example of Charlotte's work. Signed in blue enamel 'C Rhead' with decorator's initial for Fanny Morrey and pattern number 5391, moulded shape number 213 and printed 'Made in England' mark. Height 13cm (5.1in)
