A dynamic Charlotte Rhead tube-lined 'Circular Fruits' wall plaque. The pattern of orange, yellow and purple fruits works particularly well on this flat shape. The fruit have a tubed 'stitch' effect giving them a stylised almost geometric feel. Produced in the late 1930s for A. G. Richardson. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Pierced foot rim for hanging. Signed in enamel 'C Rhead' with pattern number '5982' and printed Crown Ducal mark. Diameter 31.5cm (12.4in)
