A large Charlotte Rhead 'Circular Fruits' charger tube lined with orange, yellow and green fruits which have a 'stitch' effect outline and the glaze has a slight lustre. Produced in the late 1930s for A. G. Richardson, the design looks particularly good on this flat shape. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Pierced foot rim for hanging. Signed in enamel 'C Rhead' with pattern number '5982' and printed Crown Ducal mark. Diameter 36cm (14.2in)
