A lovely Carlton Ware embossed toast rack in a design not often seen. Each end has a hand painted bumble bee flying over spikes of brightly coloured flowers on a pale greyish blue basket weave ground with a fine satin/matt glaze.The bars of the toast rack shaped like a beehive or skep. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks, restoration or crazing. Printed Carlton Ware script mark. Length 9.5cm (3.75in)
