A superb Carlton Ware vase (shape 2089) beautifully enamelled with a dragonfly, bullrushes and water lilies on a rouge royale background. Highlighted and finished with best gold. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and no sign of wear. A lovely example, difficult to find in such good order. Carlton Ware script mark with impressed shape number. Medium of three sizes produced. Height 17.75cm (7in)
