Burmantofts Pottery Green Glazed 'Grotesque Mask' Candlesticks c1895
A rare pair of Burmantofts tall candlesticks moulded as reeded columns with foliate sconces and four grotesque masks on each base. Fine pale green glaze and in good antique condition. No chips, cracks or restoration and only a slight glaze rub on one column, barely noticeable (see image 4). Impressed BF monogram, England and shape number 1830. Height 21cm (8.25in)
