A superb Burmantofts Faience jardinière with moulded and incised decoration of stylised scrolling leaves and flowers. A beautiful example with lovely detail and a fine rose pink glaze. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find jardinières of this type in such good order. Impressed 'BF' monogram ENGLAND and impressed shape number 1781. Height 15.5cm (6.1in), rim diameter 19cm (7.5in) - would hold a 15/16cm diameter plant pot.
