A superb Burmantofts double gourd shape vase with incised and moulded decoration designed by Joseph Walmsley. Stylised art nouveau ivy leaves and flowers in lovely faience greens and blues on a cream and cobalt blue ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and with little sign of wear. A large and impressive piece, rare to find in such good order. Impressed Burmantofts Faience England with shape number 2206. Height 29cm (11.5in)
