A fantastic aesthetic movement spoon warmer modelled as a grotesque Japanese style seated toad. Bright turquoise majolica/faience type glaze with incised decoration. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration with little sign of wear. A classic Burmantofts design, rare to find in such good order. Impressed Burmantofts Faience with shape number 451.
