A large Burmantofts Faience aesthetic movement vase modelled as an open oriental fan with carved 'ivory' sticks, the 'paper' embossed with leaves and a large bow at the base. A lovely turquoise glaze with fine detail. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Impressed BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE, ENGLAND and shape number 1723. Height 20cm (7.95in), width 31cm (12.25in)
