A large 1930's Burleigh Ware relief moulded wall plaque decorated with a yellow galleon in full sail with rampant lions and sunburst motifs in silver lustre on a silver background. A striking example of a classic art deco theme. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Pierced on the reverse for hanging. Printed Burleigh Ware beehive mark. Width 34cm (13.4in)
