Brentleigh Ware Straw Bonnet Wall Pocket c1930

An original Brentleigh Ware pottery wall pocket in the form of a straw bonnet with hand painted ribbons and flowers. Pretty colours and a lovely matt/satin glaze. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Often cheaper copies were made in chalk or plaster, but the original ceramic ones are quite difficult to find, especially in such good order. Impressed Brentleigh Ware (Howard Pottery, Shelton) mark.
