Bough Pottery Hand Painted Vase by Richard Amour c1920

A lovely Bough Pottery vase decorated by Richard Amour, brother of Elizabeth Amour. An impressive item beautifully painted with apples on a rich cobalt blue ground. Looks wonderful, but there is a bruise to the rim where it's received a knock at some point (see image 4). Still a rare item and it doesn't really detract from the display value, though priced accordingly. Painted pattern reference 91/37B with initials RA and printed Bough Pottery Scotland.
