Information
A lovely Booth's Aesthetic Movement dinner plate with stylised flowers and scrolls. Printed in sepia with detail hand enamelled in green, brown, blue and pink on a pale coffee cream ground. During this period, Sandringham House was the fashionable country home of the Prince and Princess of Wales and this is reflected in the choice of name for this distinctive design which was registered on 13th November 1883. In good antique condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Mild overall age related crazing and staining, though nothing to detract from the display value of this fine Victorian plate. Printed mark for Thomas Booth (1876-1891) with pattern name and registration diamond for 13th November 1883. Diameter 26.25cm (10.3in)
