A lovely chinoiserie tart or pudding dish printed in medium blue with a central flower pot and two figures in a garden landscape and a distinctive floral border inset with oriental vignettes. The name Chinese Flowering Pot was given to the pattern many years ago, although it is also known as Gardener or Gardener Variation. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Unmarked with a fine blue rippled glaze, triple stilt marks and foot rim. Diameter 21.25cm (8.4in)
