Art in Industry

In 1933 a project began to involve leading artists of the day in designing wares which were then produced by Clarice Cliff in the Bizarre workshops. The results were displayed in a Harrods tableware exhibition in 1934. The Art in Industry Exhibition then toured the country and the public could place orders from the exhibited designs.
