Rare Royal Doulton Series 'A' Dickens Ware 'Barnaby Rudge' Clent Jug D2973 c1910

An early Royal Doulton Clent shape jug with a portrait of 'Barnaby Rudge' designed by Charles Noke. A shape not often found in Dickens Ware, it's in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some fine age related crazing, typical of these wares and nothing to detract. A great example of this very collectable series. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Special Dickens Ware mark and painted series number D2973. Height 17cm (6.7in)
