An unusual majolica two handled platter with overlapping ferns and flowers creating a naturalistic effect. Lovely bright colours and in great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Some firing imperfections to the mottling on the reverse, typical of these wares and nothing to detract. Displays beautifully. Width 30cm (11.8in)
